With the Blues returning to Champions League football next season, their schedule is set to become significantly more hectic. Hence, they are looking to bolster their squad over the summer.
With Victor Moses and Marcos Alonso being Conte’s only two genuine options at wingback, that area is set to be subject to speculation.
Tierney has been building an impressive reputation with Celtic. Having come up through the youth ranks, he made his senior debut two seasons ago. Since then, Tierney has established himself as a regular in Brendan Rodgers’ defence and has caught the eye of many top clubs.
For under £20 million, this seems like a deal worth pursuing. With the increased amount of games next season, Conte will need to rotate his squad more. At the age of 19, Tierney is a perfect fit for such a role.
