Chelsea to cut Loic Remy loose and give him chance to revitalise career
According to the latest reports, Chelsea will offload Loic Remy for a bargain fee and allow the Frenchman to revitalise his career elsewhere.
With the summer of transfer speculation reaching a fever pitch, the latest reports concern forgotten Chelsea striker, Loic Remy. The Frenchman has done very little in his three years here, instead seeing his career stall. The Blues will reportedly sell him cheaply, giving him an opportunity to get his life back on track.
The Sun claims that Remy will be offloaded with little regard for profit after flopping in West London.
"Chelsea are ready to release Loic Remy for a nominal fee to allow the striker to relaunch his faltering career…Chelsea will not stand in the way of his departure despite paying £8.5million to sign the French international from QPR three years ago."

The striker joined the Blues from QPR in the summer of 2014. Remy had just scored 14 goals in 26 Premier League games while on loan at Newcastle United.
He went on to be a useful cog in the machine for the Blues during their successful 2014/15 campaign, netting seven times in 19 appearances largely off the bench. However, he barely featured in the following season and was left out of Antonio Conte’s plans last term.
A season-long loan spell at Crystal Palace was cut short by injuries and the Frenchman has found himself twiddling his thumbs over the last six months.
At the age of 30, Remy is now into the twilight of his career. His prime was wasted at Stamford Bridge and this is now his last chance to leave his mark on the game. He must leave Chelsea and find regular football if he wants to look back on his career with any sort of satisfaction.
Hopefully, this report will be correct and the Blues will let him go for a nominal fee. Many clubs will still be interested in signing him as an experienced head who can go. Marseilles are apparently keen on Remy, who first made his name with the French team.
