5. Alex Sandro – Ajitesh Rasgotra

Chelsea have been in the hunt for Alex Sandro. At one point, the transfer looked promising, then it was dead in the water. As it currently stands, all hope is not lost.

Given that Manchester City have signed both Danilo and Kyle Walker, they are no longer interested in Alex Sandro. Rumours may still suggest that Pep Guardiola is tracking the defender, but that is just pure tabloid nonsense.

Juventus seem intent on keeping their Brazilian full-back, but money usually talks in football. If Chelsea can formally submit an offer worth around £60 million, the Italians would find it hard to turn down.

Much like the Sergi Roberto case, personal terms will be key to prying him away from Turin. He has been a key member of that team, but the Blues could leverage the Premier League and London as selling points. Moreover, Brazilian teammates like David Luiz and Willian could also be deployed to entice him behind the scenes.

This is certainly one of the more difficult moves on the list, but it is not out of the realms of possibility.
