"In just the few weeks I have been on pre-season with Antonio Conte, I have been learning a lot tactically and he is good for me. He gives instructions for the strikers, for the way we play and the way we defend also. It is very tactical and I think it is what I am missing in my game. I am really focused because I need to learn more tactically. – via Metro"
Heading into the tour, fans were looking for the likes of Andreas Christensen and Charly Musonda to impress. However, Boga has come out of left field to become one of the brightest sparks. Chelsea fans are now eager to see whether the winger can force his way into Conte’s plans.

Boga spent last season with Granada, making nearly 30 competitive appearances. However, he was unable to help them avoid relegation.
The experience of playing with a struggling side will undoubtedly be beneficial, though. As Chelsea fans well know, even the biggest clubs go through rough patches. Having been in that situation previously will only put Boga in good stead to excel in desperate times.
However, for now his focus will be on proving his ability to play elite football. In his position, he has strong competition from the likes of Eden Hazard, Willian and Pedro. Boga is unlikely to enjoy many minutes unless he really leaves an impression on the boss.
Fortunately, he seems to already have a good working relationship with Conte. Showing a willingness to learn and adapt to the demands of the manager is a key step to becoming a part of his team. Moreover, saying the right things in the press and on social media is also important (yes, that is a Kenedy reference).
