Chelsea welcome Everton to Stamford Bridge on Sunday in a Premier League clash. Here are our predictions as the Blues look to capitalise on their Spurs win.

Chelsea’s opening run of tough fixtures continue this weekend as they welcome Everton to Stamford Bridge. The Toffees may be without Romelu Lukaku, but Ronald Koeman still has an impressive squad at his disposal. Who do you think will win? Vote below and read the thoughts of our writers.

Kevin Peacock: 2-0. Having seen off Tottenham last weekend and with the team getting fitter, Chelsea run out winners. Not the usual goal fest, with Conte looking to avoid defeat first off. Like last week a set piece goal in the first half followed by a late breakaway as Everton push for an equaliser.

Barrett Rouen: 2-2 Chelsea barely saw off Tottenham last week. They didn’t earn the win so much as luck into it. Everton are a good side and they can count on the win. The Blues are not going to get as lucky this weekend.

Abhishek Pancholi: 3-0. Manufactured CRISIS officially over. This game will be known for a sublime Morata brace and the sighting of Danny Drinkwater in the stands, confirming what we’ve feared all summer.

Everton Preview: Five things to look for as Chelsea welcome Everton to Stamford Bridge

Elkebir Lamrani: 3-1 to the real Blues. The fake Blues are tired from their midweek Europa League scuffle and are one certain Schneiderlin man short. Idrissa Gueye will be feeling like an orphan because Eden Hazard isn’t playing so he can’t man-mark him. Sigurdsson will be well closed down except for one time right after a Chelsea goal when he will let one rip through Courtois’ goal.

Travis Tyler: 1-0. The Blues will feel good after beating Spurs, but like this time last year they are still a work in progress. Luckily, so are Everton, and the Europa League fixture plus a ton of new players plus their lower quality will see Morata just get the Blues over the line.

Scott Brant: 2-1. Chelsea will start slow, ugly for the first 45 and the match will bore you to death till the second half. Thanks to a long ball over the top by Fabs, finished by Morata, Chelsea get on the scoreboard. Willy with the winner late.

Dan McClue: The Blues get into their stride with another mauling of Everton. Alonso scores 4 free kicks, Batshuayi scores in the right net (and celebrates by hugging Morata just to show how good friends they are), and Boga scores after dribbling past 7 Everton players.
