Jose Mourinho claims that his 2014/15 Chelsea team played better football than Antonio Conte’s winners. Which of the club’s five Premier League winning teams was easiest on the eye?

In a new interview with The Times, Jose Mourinho has claimed that his 2014/15 Chelsea squad were the most attacking out of the last three title winners. But do you agree? Vote for the Blues’ most entertaining title-winning squad in the poll at the bottom of the page!

Speaking to Oliver Kay, the former Blues boss was keen to point out the injustice in the footballing world, as he usually likes to do.

"For me, let’s be honest and objective. The last three Premier League champions — Chelsea with Mourinho, Leicester with [Claudio] Ranieri, Chelsea with [Antonio] Conte — which of these teams was the most offensive one? Which played more quality football? It was mine. But nobody says."

The 2014/15 edition of Chelsea was thoroughly entertaining for the first half of the season, but the performances tailed off significantly. Whether it was their comfortable lead at the top of the table or tactics being found out, the Blues struggled to get over the line.

It was, at times, painful to watch as Chelsea limped to the title while their rivals faltered and dropped points unnecessarily.

Chelsea Tactics: Is 3-1-4-2 the future for Antonio Conte’s Blues?

However, how much better was Antonio Conte’s team? They scored 85 goals (second highest in the league) whereas Chelsea netted only 73 times in 2014/15. But was it that entertaining? The team was built on fight, desire and a unique system that opponents couldn’t fathom. Attractive football was not Conte’s priority.

Meanwhile, how does this compare with previous successful squads? Mourinho’s outfit in 2004/05 lost just one game and scored 72 goals. They tallied the same amount of goals in the following campaign.

Carlo Ancelotti’s 2009/10 squad, though, is the favourite for many fans. They may have won the title by one point, but they scored a record-breaking 103 goals in the process.

So, which team do you think played the most attractive football?
