Nigeria. VICTOR MOSES. 6. Victor Moses made 19 appearances for Stoke three years ago while on loan.<br /> In the eyes of the Potteries faithful, that is a jeer-worthy offense. Moses had his liveliest run of play in the final 10 minutes, coming within inches of either scoring a goal or assisting on Alvaro Morata’s fourth. Better than recent performances, but Atletico is likely going to target Chelsea’s right flank.. 15

Like Cesar Azpilicueta, N’Golo Kante showed the benefits of having the night off midweek against Nottingham Forest. Kante was back to being everywhere, poaching in behind Stoke players to swipe the ball off them and turn the play in Chelsea’s favour.. 7. France. N'GOLO KANTE. 8

8. Chelsea’s first goal started with their midfield pair on the edge of their own box. Tiemoue Bakayoko took the ball off a Stoke player, turned and started upfield. Stoke tackled him right back, but N’Golo Kante was in perfect position to clean up behind Bakayoko and lay it off to Cesar Azpilicueta. That set the tone for how well Bakayoko and Kante play together. They have the sense of each other’s rhythm, movement and positioning. This has developed over the last few games, and clicked against Stoke just in time for the next two matches. His one liability is that he sometimes seems unaware of players closing in behind him, particularly right before he makes or receives a pass. This makes him vulnerable to players like N’Golo Kante who can nip in and steal the ball in a flash.. 14. France. TIEMOUE BAKAYOKO

3. Marcos Alonso was absent for the first half and the opening minutes of the second. He then went on a 10 minute of run of the most mind-bendingly stupid football you will ever see. He went up for a header and came down clutching his face, even though there was no contact above the neck. That could have been a yellow for simulation. Soon after, he received a yellow for a poor tackle. Minutes later he risked another yellow for knowingly taking a Stoke throw-in. And then he committed another rash tackle, which should have been a second yellow. It was truly insane, even more so because he had not been on the receiving end of any wrong-doing by Stoke or the official. He had not been frustrated on offence. Nothing was boiling over. This 10 minute spell came from nothing, and full credit to Antonio Conte for recognizing it early and removing him.. 3. Spain. MARCOS ALONSO
