Antonio Conte has a beard and Tony Pulis is on the hot seat, which means all bets are off as Chelsea return to action against West Bromwich Albion.
Shivansh Sareen: West Bromwich Albion 1 – 3 Chelsea. West Brom take the lead after a scrappy Salomon Rondon goal, decided by the goal line tech. Captain Cesar Azpilicueta (yes, you read that right) volleys home at the stroke of half-time to calm the nerves. Alvaro Morata Zola-flicks in the second goal before Eden Hazard rolls the ball across for Tiemoue Bakayoko to tap in, on the break, in the 89th minute, to seal all three points as Chelsea move above Spurs, who drew with Arsenal earlier in the day.
Barrett Rouen: 0 – 2. This will be a fairly routine match for the Blues. David Luiz will start and Andreas Christensen will sit in an attempt to rest him for the Champions League. Hazard will outclass someone at West Brom, who will consider retirement before another Blue will cap off a fairly routine win for Chelsea without the Blues ever really even getting out of second gear.
Scott Brant: 0 – 2. I have no idea how this match will go. Coming off the break makes it tough to know what form teams are in. West Brom will want to muddy the match up and take Chelsea out of their game. Players like Hazard, N’Golo Kante, and Thibaut Courtois make the difference in this match.

Travis Tyler: 0 – 5. Since the dawn of ancient times, the old gods demanded a blood sacrifice after a West Brom and Chelsea game. Traditions have modernized to make it simply a manager sacking, and the longer without one the more likely it becomes. Tony Pulis is on the thinnest ice. He will either divert from Pulis-ball or Antonio the Barbarian Conte will crack West Brom open like a nut despite West Brom putting 12 people in the box (somehow). The home crowd will sing “you’re getting sacked in the morning” and Pulis will be out of work until he is hired by West Ham when they sack David Moyes next month.
Nate Hofmann: 1 – 2. 3-5-2 with Fabregas, Bakayoko, and Kante in midfield. Morata and Hazard start up top. Back three includes Azpilicueta, David Luiz, and Cahill. Alonso and Zappacosta at wingback. Chelsea will score in the first half, possibly by catching West Brom on the counter after they win a corner. The Blues score again midway through the second hand but concede sometime after the 80th minute before holding on to the victory.
Daniel Mcclue: 0 – 7. Antonio Conte has a beard and is done messing around. Injuries continue to haunt the Blues at the moment, but with Kante back they can finally hit full stride. Kante scores four goals in the greatest match by a player in football history. He also records four interceptions, three tackles and two assists. Alvaro Morata, Eden Hazard and Antonio Rudiger chip in to ever so slightly help out Kante’s big day.
