Chelsea face a tough test as they visit Anfield to take on Liverpool. Can the Blues overcome Mohamed Salah and Antonio Conte’s clean face?

With a difficult trip to Anfield awaiting, here are our predictions for the huge clash between Chelsea and Liverpool.

Scott Brant: 3-2 Chelsea. The Blues escape with the win. The bookies don’t like Chelsea this week – I’m guessing since we played Wednesday while Liverpool played on Tuesday and are at home. But Chelsea can score like Liverpool can. The difference is the hosts can’t defend. Hazard with a brace and Morata with the winner.

Travis Tyler: 3-1 Blues. Klopp knows how to beat the big teams consistently, a trait Conte is still working on. But Liverpool will struggle with counters and Hazata/Morzard will make them pay.

Abhishek Pancholi: 2-1 Blues. Liverpool’s defence is their undoing, yet again. Former Blue, Mo Salah, scores on a counter but Chelsea regain a foothold and strike back without too much fuss.

Hugo Amaya: 2-1. A very tight game where Chelsea will look to defend more than attack. Liverpool will get the first goal and grow confident into the game as the visitors look to keep their offense a bay. However, as the game goes on, the Liverpool defense will slack and Hazard or Morata will take advantage. The second goal will likely be from a corner as the Reds defense crumbles under pressure.

Vishnu Raj: 3-1. Alvaro, Cesc and Eden (ACE) to trouble Liverpool’s shaky defence. Although the Blues open the scoring, they will equalize. They will then go all-out attack after getting hugged by Klopp. Their defence will be wide open without protection and Chelsea will take advantage. 3rd goal to be scored late in the second half.

Barrett Rouen: 2-1. Liverpool have yet to learn anything about playing adult football and need to learn how to defend properly when up by a lot. It could end 2-2 but Chelsea will likely go behind then steal two by playing conservatively before heading back to London with the three points.

Daniel McClue: 2-0 Liverpool. The beard is gone. And thus with four words, “Daddy you look old” young Vittoria denied Chelsea any chance of being victorious. Chelsea play flat and laboured after a 6 hour flight at 2am from Baku is almost immediately followed by a flight to Liverpool.

Kevin Peacock: 4-1 Blues. Chelsea sit tight, soak up the Liverpool onslaught for the first twenty minutes. Liverpool get one goal (Salah obviously). Conte’s men then hit them with two quick goals before half-time from Morata and Hazard. Second 45, Chelsea score two more through Christensen and Alonso. The media claim Liverpool were the better side and suggestions that Klopp doesn’t know how to defend were easily dismissed because he didn’t sign Virgil van Dijk.

Shivansh Sareen: 3-2 Chelsea. Salah rips apart Cahill to set up an easy tap in for Firmino early on. Cahill makes up for his mistake by heading the ball into the net in the 39th minute. Mane scores Liverpool’s second right at the stroke of HT. Chelsea come out firing in the second half, after the hairdryer treatment from Conte at HT. Fabregas scores after a Hazard shot is parried. Morata heads in the winner in the 82nd minute and Chelsea see out a few nervy minutes.
