Buy: Carlos Soler

Carlos Soler is riding high with Valencia, he’s young and would cost a fortune. Chelsea have plenty of central midfielders but he would offer the link between midfield and attack a lot more fluidly than current options. He poses a good-to-great dribbling threat, can finish and would interlink with Hazard and Morata seamlessly. If the Blues are looking to buy young they’d be wise to seduce him into a move to London. A possible other option is Virgil Van Dijk if David Luiz is sold.

Loan: Lewis Baker

Lewis Baker isn’t even getting into the Middlesbrough 18 for match-days. Something is up there and if Chelsea rate him as highly as they claim he needs to go elsewhere. If they don’t rate him highly, he needs to go elsewhere so Chelsea can sell him for money.

Sell: David Luiz

Chelsea don’t have the depth to sell anyone, but if Luiz wants to go, let him. Even if he is a terrific dressing room presence.
