Chelsea visit Norwich City for the first time since March 2016. Will the Blues extend their 23-year unbeaten streak against the Canaries?

Chelsea open their fourth competition of the season with a trip one level down the pyramid to Norwich City. The last time these two clubs met Kenedy and Diego Costa scored in a 2-1 Blues win. On the off-chance the Brazilian makes an appearance en route to a likely loan, will he be part of another win?

Barrett Rouen: Norwich City 0 – 3 Chelsea. The boys pull in a well -ounded match and some players who don’t ordinarily start stake a claim for more time… or raise their January transfer values.

Kevin Peacock: 0 (or 1) – 2. These games are never easy. Without the intensity of a Premier League clash, the danger is the foot comes off the gas. But Antonio Conte will not let Chelsea’s energy levels drop. With the manager’s uber-rotation keeping things fresh, Chelsea run out winners 2-0 or, if Willy Caballero plays, 2-1 because he always lets a late goal in.

Travis Tyler: 0 – 4. Norwich is an old foe that is stuck in the pit of the Championship. Antonio Conte will rotate heavily and look to give the youth some minutes as the team canters to an easy – yet surprisingly tricky – victory.

Scott Brant: 0 – 3. The score probably should be higher but Chelsea cruise to a easy victory. The big question is whether Antonio Conte will start Alvaro Morata or Michy Batshuayi.

Ollie Miller: 0 – 3. These games really are hard to predict. Willian and/or Pedro steal the show and Chelsea breeze through. Then again, Norwich have Steven Naismith so he could always bag another hat-trick.

Abhishek Pancholi: 0 – 5.  Go big or go home. Conte could start Morata to give him some confidence against lower league opposition and he’ll bag a hat trick.

Next: Andy Carroll is not the player Chelsea need right now
