Chelsea are still in search of their first win of 2018 as they welcome Leicester to Stamford Bridge. Will the Blues break their new year’s duck, or at least entertain us with some goals?

Leicester are a much improved side compared to when Chelsea visited King Power Stadium earlier this season. Coming off the backs of three draws in three competitions, Antonio Conte will be eager to back up his war of words with Jose Mourinho by keeping Chelsea in the hunt for second.

Brendan McDonnell: Chelsea 3 – 0 Leicester. Part of me thinks the west London draw train keeps chugging along here, but I’m oddly confident after the Blues’ performance in the Carabao Cup.  Sure, it was a less than stellar result, but the squad played a strong 90 and that momentum should sustain this weekend. Alvaro Morata breaks his scoring slump in a major way, netting at least two.

Hugo Amaya: 1 – 0. Conte will have had a talk with his players about recent performances, but not a single word will stay in their heads. However, thankfully, someone will pull a rabbit out of the hat to secure the three points for the Blues.

Alex Ford: 2 – 0. Antonio Conte will want his side to put things right after failing to find the back of the net in their last two outings and will expect his stars to perform. Alvaro Morata and Eden Hazard to come out on top of a Leicester defence to give the Blues all three points.

Daniel Mcclue: 4 – 1. The Blues are in a slump, at some point they will shatter their woes and it may as well be against Leicester (because at this point who really knows?). Drinkwater, Cahill, Morata and Moses all score. Mahrez pots a consolation for Leicester before being revealed at the final whistle as a Chelsea player. He was Blue the whole time!

Barrett Rouen: 2 – 1. Ultimately the Blues have more quality than Leicester.  That said, they’re not playing well at all and Leicester will put forth enough effort to be worrying.

Scott Brant: 1 – 0. Another bore-fest, get your pillows and blankets ready. Nap time. The attacking has been lackluster or absent as of late. After a brutal 75 minutes someone finally ends the agony by scoring and securing 3 points for the Blues.

Shivansh Sareen: 2 – 1.  Chelsea scrape through in another snoozefest.

Travis Tyler: 3 – 1. Blue v. Blue games seem exciting under Conte and they are due for some goals. Expect a blitz and a Vardy late goal to round things off.
