Chelsea look to advance to the EFL Cup / Carabao Cup finals against Manchester City by beating Arsenal for the first time this month. Will the Blues pull it off?

Chelsea have drawn Arsenal twice this month already. Having broken their overall draw streak by suffocating the Canaries, Antonio Conte will have his men ready to do the same against the Gunners. Our predictions for how the Blues might see their way into the Carabao Cup finals.

Barrett Rouen: Arsenal 0 – 3 Chelsea. The Blues are hungry at the moment and feeling themselves following a big win.  Arsenal will be lacking Alexis Sanchez and Henrikh Mkhitaryan, compounding an already thin squad.

Kevin Peacock: 0 – 2. No Sanchez, no Walcott, no Giroud, no Welbeck, no chance. Chelsea grab FA Cup final revenge over the north London selling club ,winning 2-0. Hazard back to his embarrassing-the-opponent best, turning Wenger’s mob inside and out.

Travis Tyler: 1 – 1 AET. Thanks to Scott, I learned that away goals only count in the EFL Cup after extra time. And because the universe loves to turn things like that into reality, Chelsea will go behind early, score late (was that Ross Barkley? It was, it was!), and hold out through extra time to advance to the final on away goals.

Hugo Amaya: 0 – 2. The Blues will start the game on the front foot and open the scoring the first half. However, Arsenal will keep pressing throughout the second half as they try to prove that they don’t need Sanchez. And right when everyone thinks they are going to equalize, the good guys will seal the victory.

Must Read: Kenedy goes out on loan, indicating Emerson deal is close

Scott Brant: 1 – 3. The Blues come out in a fury. Hazard was looking forward to embarrassing Coquelin, but since he’s gone, honestly anybody will do. Hazard with the brace, and Batshuayi (praying) is influential in link up and chances again.

Abhishek Pancholi: 0 – 3.  Conte will do something he’s never done against Arsenal: go for the jugular. A sensational Eden Hazard performance will leave the Gunners running for cover and their post-Sanchez rebuilding project in tatters. Easy win, although goals might not flow until the second half.

Shivansh Sareen: 1 – 2. Chelsea soak up whatever pressure Arsenal manage to conjure up and beat them on the counter.

Ollie Miller: 0 – 1. After looking much better playing 3-4-3 with Michy Batshuayi through the middle, Chelsea still make it look difficult but eventually overcome Arsenal. Ross Barkley plays a small part but the in-form Willian steals the show.

Next: Antonio Conte measures success by effort, not silverware
