After a week of rest, Chelsea host West Brom. The staff predicts how the squad navigates the West Brom curse in a must win for Antonio Conte.

Hugo Amaya: Chelsea 3-West Brom 0. Having taking advantage of the little break, Conte’s men will feel like they can now do anything. With some changes to the tactics, Chelsea will have a comfortable win. The game will be slow but the Blues will dominate from beginning to end. Conte will keep his job and smiles will start to shine again. For now.

Ollie Miller: 1-0. Not really sure what to expect anymore. I thought we’d surely beat Watford and we were destroyed. Surely it can’t get any worse, right? Giroud to grab his first goal.

Kevin Peacock: 2-0. Roman Abramovich has never seen his Chelsea side lose three competitive games in a row. Antonio Conte and these players won’t want that on their watch. Obviously it won’t be easy, but in the end Chelsea will run out comfortable 2-0 winners with goals from Giroud and Hazard.

Scott Brant: 2-1. I couldn’t predict a Chelsea match this year (especially of late) to save my life. I wanted to go with a 2 nil score line, but have no confidence in our Blues keeping it clean. Hazard to continue his form this year (get that value up before departure) by netting one, make it two.

Barret Rouen: 1-0. Chelsea barely eke this one out because they’re terrible now and in the process of betraying their manager, supporters and club for the second time in three years and yet somehow people think they’re good players and the club should keep them. What a bunch of inimitable ingrates.

Abhishek Pancholi: 3-0. After weeks of predicting wins and clean sheets and getting it wrong, I still refuse to give in to the despair. But I do hope Conte and his team have no further plans of handing out gift baskets to all comers. An extended break should see Chelsea comfortably dispatch West Brom with enough gas left in the tank. I can’t predict the scorers as I have no clue where the next goal is gonna come from. But it’s coming. Oh, it’s coming.

Shivansh Sareen: 3-2. The Blues edge a remarkably open contest. Giroud brace plus a Hazard goal.

Daniel McClue: 4-0. I apologise in advance but my gut is telling me Chelsea will run away with this one. Hazard to get a hattrick and Michy Bats…Olivier Giroud will get his first in blue.

Nate Hofmann: 3-1. I chose this score by throwing dice, so there was an equally likely chance of me predicting 6-6. That’s pretty much what Chelsea matches feel like these days. Good news is, West Brom look pretty awful, so hopefully a rested and pissed off Chelsea squad will come in with guns blazing.

Travis Tyler: 1-1. A feeling of foreboding casts its shadow over this match. Anything other than a win could cost Conte his job and there just does not seem a way to avoid fighting the West Brom curse.
