Chelsea host Liverpool in a massive six-point match with the top-four very much back in play. Tottenham started the weekend in Spursy form. Can the Blues take advantage by taking three points?

West Bromwich Albion gave themselves a breath of life with a stoppage time goal for a 1-0 win over Tottenham. They already managed to not be the first team relegated this season, and now they have a slim chance of staying up, courtesy of Spurs. On the subject of Spursiness, if Chelsea beat Liverpool they will be only three point behind the north Londoners. Will they turn up the heat on the brittle-whites?

Kevin Peacock: Chelsea 1 – 0 Liverpool. Antonio Conte goes full-on Jose Mourinho, parking a fleet of buses in front of Thibaut Courtois. Eden Hazard has one of those games where he’s left helpless and suffers considerably without the ball. Liverpool and Jurgen Klopp will be content to take a point and they’ll barely get out of first gear as they look to avoid defeat and injury. In case you missed it, the Reds made the Champions League final. Chelsea do, however, edge the borefest with an Olivier Giroud goal.

Shivansh Sareen: 3 – 2. Two quick fire goals from Mohamed Salah put Liverpool in the driver’s seat before a deflected Willian strike brings the Blues back into it at the stroke of half-time. A fired-up Chelsea overwhelm Liverpool in the second half as Olivier Giroud and Eden Hazard score to wrap up three crucial points.

Daniel Mcclue: 5 – 5. Liverpool have weeks before they play Real Madrid so don’t really have an excuse not to play their full side. Chelsea take the game to Liverpool in a game-of-the-year candidate. Mohamed Salah scores all five goals and refuses to celebrate any. Alvaro Morata gets a hat-trick and Gary Cahill scores two.

Hugo Amaya: 1 – 3. If there is anything this season has shown, it is that Chelsea cannot handle the big teams. And today will be no different. Liverpool will score an early goal – as they always do against Chelsea – and Conte’s men will respond before the break. However, in the second half the the Blues will get overwhelmed as we all cry in misery.

Scott Brant: 2 – 1. Liverpool will be focused on the Champions League final. Chelsea will be motivated to try for a top-four spot. Chelsea defend like mad men, holding Salah and Liverpool to one goal. Gary Cahill with a goal, Alvaro Morata with the winner.

Barrett Rouen: 2 – 1. Chelsea need this. Even they know that. Professionalism may be hard but simple math isn’t. Liverpool are a better side but, hey, I never bet against us so there it is.

Abhishek Pancholi: 2 – 1. A bit too optimistic? Hardly. Liverpool won’t go full-throttle for this one and might make the mistake of underestimating Chelsea’s resolve to get a CL place. Morata to score.
