Chelsea close out the Premier League season with a trip to Newcastle. Will the Blues at least show some semblance of fight on the off-chance Liverpool fall to Brighton?

If not for Chelsea’s lacklustre performance against Huddersfield, this match could take the Champions League race down to the final minutes of the season. Then again, if not for Marcos Alonso’s face, Chelsea’s Champions League hopes would be completely over. Here are our predictions for the season finale, as we try not to think of what will be going on in Liverpool

Barrett Rouen: Newcastle 1 – 1 Chelsea. The season ends with a fittingly disappointing and flat performance that explains everything that is wrong with this group of players and their complete inability to get going for the fans, the badge or really any reason at all.

Abhishek Pancholi: 2 – 1. The Blues blow their last chance to make it into the top four by losing to The Interim One. Liverpool also lose to Brighton, just to add the icing on a particularly tasteless cake.

Shivansh Sareen: 1-2. Alvaro Morata ends the season on a high note with a brace. Newcastle get a consolation late on.

Scott Brant: 0 – 2. Ending the Premier League season with a win and a clean sheet would be appreciated. With only one lap left in this race, a good showing before a big match is preferred. Marcos Alonso and Morata score.

Hugo Amaya: 0 – 2. The Blues will make one last attempt into making top four. The game will be straight forward as Chelsea dominate from begging to end. And with the hopes of a Liverpool loss, they might just do it.

George Perry: 0 – 3. Chelsea will thrash Newcastle. “Where was this when we needed it” is the cry amongst the travelling fans, and Blues fans worldwide.
