Two Chelsea players who had poor performances versus Huddersfield will look to bounce back against Arsenal, both on the pitch and in our FanDuel fantasy team.

The Premier League season is off and running in matchweek two. Let’s take a look at a lineup for Saturday’s Fanduel EPL Toe Poke, where Chelsea’s Alvaro Morata and Willian are well worth the price.

FWD: Alvaro Morata (Chelsea) – 9,000

Alvaro Morata had a rough first week to the season, registering zero fantasy points. This should change with a breakout performance, and what better team to start scoring against than Arsenal. The Gunners have a new skipper much like Chelsea, and Maurizio Sarri’s men look a little more practiced and comfortable. Expect Morata to notch a goal and pop numerous chances against Petr Cech.

FWD: Jamie Vardy (Leicester) – 10,500

In Leicester’s last match Jamie Vardy came on late in the second half and headed in a goal. This week he should start. Kelechi Iheanacho could not finish any of the thousand (give or take a few) chances he had in front of goal. If the Englishman gets those same chances against Wolves, we’ll be having a Vardy Party. At least one goal is a fair expectation, especially for the high price. Look for Vardy to top the fantasy points list for strikers this week.

MID: James Maddison (Leicester) – 8,500

James Maddison – no, not that James Madison – will be feeding Jamie Vardy those opportunities, the ones Iheanacho couldn’t finish. In the opening match of the season David De Gea made an outstanding save on Maddison from a shot in the box. With Vardy likely to start, Maddison can have a more convincing performance, including an assist and multiple chances created.

MID: Ryan Sessegnon (Fulham) – 7,000

A lot of out salary cap went towards strikers, which means you have to seek a cheap option elsewhere. Ryan Sessegnon did not have a convincing performance versus Crystal Palace. With three interceptions and two tackles, it’s good to see him getting points on the defensive side of the ball when his team is not scoring. I’m looking for a little luck with this pick, but I like my chances with a young talented player like Sessegnon.

MID: Willian (Chelsea) – 9,000

It pains me to select Willian, mainly for personal reasons. That aside, Willian will be a good pick this week for two reasons. First, there is still speculation around whether Eden Hazard is ready to start. Second, with an unimpressive performance last week from the Brazilian, a bounce-back performance could be in the cards. There is always a chance Willian can get a free kick goal, or run in behind off a beautiful pass from Jorginho. Willian’s motor is always beneficial to fantasy points, even if his attitude is not.

DEF: Hector Bellerin (Arsenal) – 5,500

Hector Bellerin’s speed is by far his best asset. Match that against Marcos Alonso on the same side and it spells trouble for Chelsea. Bellerin will look to build on his five interceptions, one chance created, and two tackles with some offensive production as well. Anything over 20 fantasy points for the fullback will be acceptable.

DEF: Leighton Baines (Everton) – 5,500

Leighton Baines is a bit of a gut selection, since we haven’t heard his name in what seems like forever. His high value comes from being the likely penalty-taker for Everton, with the added value that he is a defenseman. Adding him is a diddle of the road play as far as price goes. There are a few players to take in defense that may have a better chance oft scoring, but you would have to save significant amounts elsewhere to come up with another 1,500-2,000 in salary cap room.

Goalkeeper: Hugo Lloris (Tottenham) – 5,000

Hugo Lloris has the best chance to get the clean sheet this week, which is usually the best standard to select a keeper. Spurs are up against Fulham, who failed to score against Crystal Palace. Palace may look dangerous on paper, but they need some time to get it together. Tottenham will look to get their first clean sheet of the season.

Next. Maurizio Sarri must take the long-view on Eden Hazard's return. dark

Honorable mention to Kepa Arrizabalaga for Chelsea, who is going against an unpredictable Arsenal squad.
