Chelsea look to avenge their away loss to Wolves in a tricky home fixture today. Here are our predictions as the Blues look to press their advantage into the top four.

The top of the table is shaping us nicely for Chelsea, as Tottenham are fulfilling their annual destiny and Manchester City are rescuing the football world from a Liverpool title. The Blues have their part to play, and defeating Wolves will be a major step towards Champions League, London bragging rights and top banter.

Gabe Henderson: Chelsea 1 – 0 Wolves. The pressure is on Chelsea to grab all three points after the North London Bottlers dropped points against Southampton. After a soul-crushing defeat in the reverse fixture against Wolves, the Blues will be out for revenge. Alas, Wolves are more than a formidable opponent. In the end, a very solid 1-0 win and three massive points.

Scott Brant: 2 – 1. This will be a tough match, but Chelsea are playing well enough to edge out the efficient Wolves. There will probably be 4-5 quality chances in the match with three goals. Gonzalo Higuain and Eden Hazard to showcase some deadly finishing.

Barrett Rouen: 3 – 2. Chelsea will maintain their good form, although Wolves are an excellent side. Now with Champions League football within weirdly close grasp they’ll be able to maintain their concentration thanks to Spurs’ Spursing this up for themselves. A good win but no youth play, so whatever… again.

Abhishek Pancholi: 2 – 3.  Everything sucks and we’re all going to die eventually. But that’s okay. Because until then, Nuno would be a very interesting candidate for the vacancy that will open up at Chelsea after this game. He’s already got Sarri beat in the clothing and the beard departments.

George Perry: 2 – 1. Chelsea will put in a quintessential life-under-Sarri performance. If you like vacuous stats (possession, passing), think the final scoreline is the only thing that matters no matter how much mediocrity was on display for 90 minutes and don’t want people like me (us) to ruin your three points worth of good feelz by pointing out how woefully vulnerable Chelsea looked (no, we didn’t watch Napoli last season) and what that says for future games under Sarri in this season and the next, you will absolutely love this game and revile us.

So let me spare you the time and say this win plus Chelsea’s game in hand will have them firmly in control of top four, so lol go about your crisis you suffer-loving yer da.
