LONDON, ENGLAND – FEBRUARY 17: Olivier Giroud of Chelsea after he sees his goal ruled out by VAR during the Premier League match between Chelsea FC and Manchester United at Stamford Bridge on February 17, 2020 in London, United Kingdom. (Photo by Robin Jones/Getty Images) /

Willian, 22, Right wing, Brazil

Willian is easily the senior player that Lampard trusts the most. He is constant energy on and off the ball which is what Lampard wants in an attacker, but he is also clever when he needs to be. The detractors still go on and on about goals and assists, but Willian adds on to the game in other ways leading up to both. Chelsea need his guile against a Mourinho side that will not give much.

Olivier Giroud, 18, Striker, France

Tammy Abraham could be risked, but it would be unwise before Bayern Munich. Michy Batshuayi has frankly played his way out of contention if anything makes sense. That leaves Giroud who was wrongfully stolen of a goal against United. He did come on and immediately improve nearly every player around him as he tends to do. Giroud may be a bad tactical fit for what Lampard wants, but he adds more than Batshuayi regardless and needs the start if Abraham is not 100 percent.

Mason Mount, 19, Left wing, England

With Christian Pulisic and Callum Hudson-Odoi injured, the wing options are pretty tight. Mount came on and did well against Manchester United and Lampard will be looking for that same energy again. Mount does tend to do better when he starts from a wider position and a 3-4-3 offers him plenty of cover to do just that. All he needs to do is find those spaces he normally does and he can give Tottenham fits.
