3. Juan Cuadrado, January – August 2015: 19 appearances, 1 assist

Once again, the joke is on us here.

After arriving from Fiorentina, Cuadrado ran around in a Chelsea shirt for around four and half hours total, and was duly rewarded with winner’s medals for both the 2014/15 Premier League and League Cup.

He was then loaned out to Juventus in August 2015, sparing him the anguish of that 2015/16 season while also raking in more silverware in Turin. He has since made that move permanent, and continues to be a valuable contributor to one of the best teams in Europe.

In that sense, his Chelsea career was a second-tier version of the Mohamed Salah and Kevin de Bruyne stories we know so well.
