Chelsea has several players heading towards free agency, but the Blues are linked to few. Who are some potential free agent targets for the club?

Chelsea has three first team players with expiring contracts: Willy Caballero, Willian, and Pedro. All three are expected to enter free agency and have their choice of future clubs.

But there is very little of that going the other way. Other than Dries Mertens, Chelsea has not been linked to any free agents. With so many out there, who are a few the Blues should be looking at?

1. Ryan Fraser-Olaoluwa Nwobodo

Contracts are expiring this summer one such contract is that of Ryan Fraser. Fraser is a versatile player that would not be amiss at Chelsea. He has been a key player for AFC Bournemouth for quite a while now, scoring one and registering five assists for the Cherries this season, creating five big chances.

Fraser’s ability to spot a pass and his decisiveness in the final third means that he would be a useful in unlocking stubborn defenses. Fraser is quick while also being a competent finisher, meaning that he will be comfortable playing anywhere in the final third. He can play as a center forward if Chelsea ever find themselves in a ditch.

If AFC Bournemouth do not renew his contract, Chelsea should swoop in and secure his signature. He would be a very useful addition to the squad. The best part is that he is/would be 25 in the summer and that means some much needed Premier League experience would be injected into the squad.
