Chelsea player ratings: Substitutes silenced the Foxes
By Scott Brant
Willian (Winger): 9
Willian had an absolute day. The Man of the Match. His assist was well worked, with most of the work being done by himself before the pass to Barkley was finished nicely. Willian was responsible for half the chances today; he was hitting a variety of passes at all sorts of heights and distances. The most productive player for Chelsea throughout the match, showing he wants to stay at Chelsea (or wants more money at his next destination).
Tammy Abraham (Striker): 7
Abraham had some really good hold up play throughout the first half. He was not helped by his teammates with very little service provided, which resulted in no touches in the Leicester City box in the first half. He put in effort, work and displayed some passion. There is not much else to judge a striker on that gets very little help from his teammates.
Christian Pulisic (Winger): 8
The American was dangerous as usual, running directly at defenders and putting himself in positions to be effective. His best chance undoubtedly came from Mason Mount pinging a pass into his feet and Pulisic getting a rocket off. Unfortunately, it was saved by Kasper Schmeichel. Pulisic is cementing his starting position for the Blues in the coming seasons.
Pedro and Ruben Loftus Cheek (Wingers/Substitute): N/A
Honestly by the time these two came on, the game became so nervy that it was hard to notice either player even being on the pitch.
