Right winger: Willian, Chelsea

Willian has enjoyed one of the best seasons of his career thus far under Lampard. His chance creation has improved, as has his decision making. The work the winger is able to put in off the ball is incredibly rare for an attacking player. In terms of wingers who can track back and defend with discipline, the Brazilian is one of the world’s best. This decision was relatively easy considering both the fact that Traore was at wing-back and how well Willian is performing this season for the Blues.

Striker: Raul Jimenez, Wolves

The striker position was the hardest on the pitch to choose from between these two great clubs. Chelsea has a veteran in Olivier Giroud (nine goals in 22 appearances) and a young phenom in Tammy Abraham (17 goals, six assists in 44 appearances), but it’s Wolves’ Jimenez who earns the starting nod. Jimenez (26 goals, 10 assists in 52 appearances) has become one of the Premier League’s most lethal strikers across Wolves’ time in the top flight. His consistency and efficiency put him above the Chelsea duo in this combined XI.

Left winger: Christian Pulisic, Chelsea

Since the restart, Pulisic has captured the eyes of millions across the world. He’s been the most important player for Chelsea, sparking a comeback in the Aston Villa match, scoring the opener against Manchester City, earning two set pieces that led to goals against West Ham, scored and assisted against Liverpool and the list goes on. The young American has solidified his place after a shaky first half of the season. Since returning from injury, he’s brought his season totals up to 10 goals and 10 assists. Not bad for someone who has only featured in 32 matches, with a large amount of those being as a substitute. Wolves’ Diogo Jota is an incredibly talented young player, but leaving Pulisic off this list would be a crime.
