Mason Mount (Right winger): 10

Is it possible to say too many good things about a single player? Mount has been remarkable in his debut season for his boyhood club. One of the most important players for the Blues continued to deliver when it mattered most. He scored Chelsea’s first goal of the Premier League season and came full circle scoring the penultimate and assisting on the last goal. His goal contributions in this match saw the Blues clinch top four in Lampard’s first year in charge. Nobody represents the spirit of the youth revolution in west London more than Mount; today proved why. Oh yeah, let’s not let that beauty of a free kick go unnoticed either.

Olivier Giroud (Striker): 7.5

Giroud scores when he wants. What a story the French striker has written for himself in Chelsea blue. Despite playing a frustrating match—making unrewarded runs in behind the defenders, taking a beating in the air and putting a few shots wide—Giroud scored the Blues’ second and the goal that saw the game put away late in the first half. He could’ve left in January. Instead, Giroud went on to win Chelsea’s starting job down the stretch, scoring at ease and helping secure a Champions League place for Lampard’s young squad. FA Cup final next, will Giroud win his third trophy in as many seasons (his second over his former club, Arsenal)? Stay tuned, the narrative is still being written.

Christian Pulisic (Left winger): 6.5

Another forward who had a frustrating day. The disciplined defense of Wolves swarmed towards the young American any time he got on the ball. Luckily, he was able to retain possession long enough to dump it off the Mount right before the break, leading to Chelsea’s second goal. On the bright side, the Blues were still able to get the win and Pulisic looked fit. Let’s hope things stay that was as he’s got a bright future ahead of him—one that includes Timo Werner and Hakim Ziyech.

Callum Hudson-Odoi (Left winger): 6.5

Hudson-Odoi failed to really impact the match when he came on. In his defense, Chelsea wasn’t exactly yearning for a goal sitting 2-0 up in the 78′ during the final match of the season. Much like Loftus-Cheek, important minutes for the youngster.

Tammy Abraham (Striker): 7

The only memorable thing Abraham did in this one was win Chelsea a corner, showing off his excellent technical ability and strength as he fended off multiple defenders. Regardless, it’d be criminal not to mention the fact Abraham finished the Premier League campaign as the Blues’ top goalscorer. Top four wouldn’t have been possible without the English forward.

Pedro (Right winger): Honorary 10

Pedro replaced Mount in the last 10-or-so minutes of the match. Lampard brought him on late, confirming afterwards that the Spaniard had played his last game for the Blues. An outstanding player and an even better professional for Chelsea over the last few years, it was nice to see Pedro take the pitch at Stamford Bridge for one last time.
