It’s finally here, the FA Cup final between Chelsea and Arsenal. Here is how our staff thinks the all-London final will go down.

It’s Chelsea versus Arsenal in a cup final, like a broken record. The historic London clubs can agree on one thing and one thing only—London is not white. The city’s two most successful teams will meet again in the FA Cup final in a rematch of the 2017 trophy match. Arsenal got the better of the Blues then, but the Blues went on to triumph in 2018. Further, Chelsea went on to extract revenge on the Gunners in Baku last season, taking home the Europa League trophy

Now, it’s anybody’s match. Chelsea has looked more consistent throughout the season—taking four points from two matches from Arsenal—but the Gunners have been hot as of late, beating Manchester City and Liverpool. Here is how our experts think the FA Cup final will shake out:

Michael DeVito: 2-0 Chelsea

The Blues can win and dominate. Look at Olivier Giroud and Christian Pulisic; two goals and the trophy come from the forward duo. Willy Caballero justifies his extension—again. Frank Lampard finishes with UCL qualification and an FA Cup win in his first season. How sweet it is as the gaffer defies all expectations; and more to come.

Kade Kistner: 2-1 Chelsea

Chelsea looked solid against Wolves and will relish an opportunity for a London Derby to end the domestic season. Lampard snatches his first trophy on Saturday.

Olaoluwa Nwobodo: 2-1 Chelsea

Chelsea has struggled against Arsenal of late, it doesn’t matter what form the Gunners are in—it’s frustrating. The Blues will have taken a lot from the 2-2 loss at Stamford Bridge earlier in the season. This final represents so much for the two budding managers, Lampard will come out on top simply because his side has more players that can hurt Arsenal than the Gunners have that can hurt the Blues.

Nate Hofmann: 2-2 (Chelsea wins on penalties)

The Gunners are the more desperate side here. A win earns them Europa League and possibly a few more years of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang. It would be a delicious ending to the season if Chelsea can blow those hopes to smithereens. Finals can be cagey affairs, but neither side is good enough to even dream of keeping a clean sheet here. At the end of the day, it’ll be Caballero saving the decisive penalty in a shootout, adding one final twist of the knife to Kepa Arrizabalaga’s miserable season.

Gabe Henderson: 3-1 Chelsea

The Blues continue to ride the wave of trophies, winning their fourth in as many years. Baku may be on Arsenal’s minds, but the pressure of securing European football will prove too much for Mikel Arteta’s side. N’Golo Kante returns to pocket the Gunners’ midfield, Pulisic puts on a masterclass and Chelsea comes out with the victory, giving the gaffer his first taste of real success as a manager.

Abhishek Pancholi: 3-0 Chelsea

First trophy for Super Frank and no European football for Arsenal. Perfect.

Varun Dani: 3-1 Chelsea

It’s been a roller coaster of a season for Lampard and his Chelsea domestically, as was expected given the circumstances. He’s still accomplished the top four objective and put the icing on the cake with his first trophy as a manager.

Arsenal is a very hot and cold team right now, all Chelsea needs to do is put in a disciplined display as the boys did against Wolves and David Luiz’s Arsenal is bound to implode at some point.

Kevin Peacock: 1-0 Chelsea

It’s a final. It’s Wembley. It’s a cagey 1-0 win for Chelsea. Frank Lampard has to grab silverware in his first season in charge, it’s a Chelsea tradition. Former Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud with the goal.

Scott Brant: 2-1 Chelsea

Three goals in a match might seem like a lot, but between these two it’s the minimum. Blues go down first and come roaring back to put two passed the gunners. Giroud and Pulisic to score.

Tan Yi Hao: 1-0 Chelsea

This is a game which could go any way considering the defensive issues that have plagued both sides all season long. Nonetheless, the occasion induced stress among both sets of players would most likely result in a cagey ninety minutes of football. The first goal would definitely prove crucial and should be enough to see either side scrape through for the win.

As this is a Chelsea based website and I am a Chelsea fan, 1-0 to the Blues it is.

Jake Leach: 2-1 Chelsea

Lampard’s first trophy in management pending!

Matthew Hancock-Bruce: 2-1 Chelsea

Chelsea best their London rivals at almost every position so a win here should be assured. The gunners attack may be enough to muster a goal but ultimately the blues are the much more confident side and I expect them to win quite comfortably.

Nathaniel Kay: 1-1 (Arsenal win on penalties 4-3)

The bragging rights to the capital will go right down to the wire in this unusually cagey affair. Chelsea and Arsenal constantly cancel each other out due to their similar formations and after 120 minutes of back and fourth, the FA Cup final is decided by a shootout. Written in the stars for Olivier Giroud to score, but the Gunners have an unlikely hero of their own to score a late equalizer.
