Right wing, Hakim Ziyech (No. 22), Morocco

Ziyech is the best right winger at both clubs and it’s not close. Though he is yet to play a full Premier League game, that still holds true. Ziyech was referred to as the Wizard of Amsterdam by Ajax Amsterdam; the Dutch giants did not pull that name out of thin air. He comes out top when compared to Daniel James and Callum Hudson-Odoi, if Hudson-Odoi is seen as a right winger. His vision and delivery can be compared to Kevin de Bruyne and Bruno Fernandes.

Left winger, Marcus Rashford (No. 10), England

Rashford has gathered four goal contributions in four games for Manchester United this season. Pulisic may be the better player, but the American has not impressed with his minutes this season yet. This is not to say he won’t pick up form in the near future, but as of right now, Rashford gets the nod over the former Dortmund winger for his form, ability and influence. Rashford’s skillset is quite comprehensive, he is a good set piece taker, very quick and tricky on and off the ball. He is also prolific and has shown that he can create as much as he can score.

Striker, Timo Werner (No. 11), Germany

It took Werner five games and a lot of patience, but he’s now firing on all cylinders. He’s already recorded 2 goals and one assist, and all that came in one match. Werner’s speed means he can run off the shoulder of any centerback. His technical ability means he can finish from all types of chances – even half chances – from any angle. His trickery means he’ll be a nightmare to try to contain. Anthony Martial is suspended for this match and Edinson Cavani seems to be injured. Regardless, Werner gets into this line-up over Tammy Abraham, Olivier Giroud and Cavani.

Next. Chelsea's Edouard Mendy is a stop gap, not a long term solution. dark
