Faustino Anjorin (No. 55) Right winger, England

Faustino—or Tino, as many call him—Anjorin might get a look in during this game. He has already made his debut for the club, and might make his full debut against the Russian side in the Champions League. This game hands Lampard a golden opportunity to hand out full debuts to academy players to try themselves against top level opposition. It would be a dream for the 19-year-old to play under the brightest lights in Europe.

Tammy Abraham (No. 9) Striker, England

Chelsea is lucky to have three top strikers on its roster. What this means is Lampard can decide to do a full rotation and still send out a first team striker while others rest. For Tammy Abraham, this is his opportunity to make himself un-ignorable, or at least give the manager something to think about ahead of the clash against Everton at the weekend. Competition for places in this side is tough and Giroud just showed the kind of performances needed to displace someone in the starting line-up. The bar is high, but Abraham will more than likely be up to the task.

Christian Pulisic (No. 10) Left winger, United States

Christian Pulisic scored a well-deserved goal against Leeds. He has been trying to get goal since the Sevilla game, often acting selfishly to try and get himself back on track. Hakim Ziyech is injured now and Pulisic is likely to benefit from that. The American has had his usual impact on attacks in the past two games, but he has had some unnecessarily selfish moments—as aforementioned—too. It’s a team sport, and while it’s understandable to want to score and make yourself undroppable, it is not good to try to do that at the cost of team results. Pulisic has still done enough in games to justify more starts, so expect him to start again.
