Hakim Ziyech (Right Winger): 8/10

Ziyech had a great game, as well. Like I mentioned above, he was always finding the right space, sometimes deep, sometimes advanced. The Moroccan notched a beautiful assist when he passed it over the defenders to Callum Hudson-Odoi, who managed to score the team’s third. Other than that, he was the one that crossed the ball into the box before Werner’s goal and earned a hockey assist. Ziyech tried all sorts of creative stuff today—some of it worked, some of it didn’t, but it just felt good watching him play. Expect more from Ziyech as the season goes on.

Timo Werner (Striker): 6.5/10

Werner has finally scored a goal; the drought is finally over. He wasn’t really that good on Sunday, though. Werner tried linking up with other attackers on a number of occasions, but it was a hit or miss. The German didn’t take many shots, and he wasn’t involved as much as he’d would’ve liked. All of that being said, that goal counts.

Callum Hudson-Odoi (Left winger): 8.5/10

It was another great performance from Callum Hudson-Odoi. Honestly, what more can he do to get his deserved spot in the line-up for a Premier League game? Hudson-Odoi notched an assist on the first goal when he passed it to Mount from the flank, who just drilled it into the bottom left corner. He scored after a gorgeous pass from Ziyech on the team’s third goal, as well.

Hudson-Odoi will ultimately be let down by the first touch, but he managed to take a good shot even after that and scored a solid goal. He was a constant menace throughout the match, getting the ball to the edge of the box and making some sumptuous crosses. Hudson-Odoi can honestly play well on either wing, as he showed on Sunday.

Christian Pulisic (Left Winger): 5/10

Nothing great from Christian Pulisic in his 22′ cameo. Sometimes it looked like he was trying too many things, which left him dispossessed a couple of times. Other than that, he wasn’t involved too often.

Olivier Giroud (Striker): 5/10

A quiet showing from the French striker; he did his thing, but missed a few half-chances. He had that one great heel-flick pass to Tammy Abraham, which was just so satisfying to see.

Tammy Abraham (Striker): N/A

Nothing noteworthy from Abraham on the day, though he wasn’t given much time to make things happen.
