Mason Mount (No. 19) Right Forward, England

Mason Mount continues to impress day after day. While he was influential throughout the game against Atletico, there was a special moment where he dribbled past two Atletico players with ease. Recent performances have shown that Mount continues to be one of Chelsea’s best players. Expect another world-class performance from Chelsea’s best player against Manchester United.

Olivier Giroud (No. 18) Striker, France

Olivier Giroud scored a magnificent overhead kick against Atletico Madrid the other day. His goal was the difference between the two sides as Chelsea returned home with an important away goal lead. Not bad for a go-kart, no? Giroud is one of those players that have the ability to change the game on its head. It doesn’t matter if he starts or not, the moment he steps on to the pitch, he can win you the game. Considering his performance against Atletico, it is safe to say that Giroud deserves to start this game. Expect the Frenchman to score another goal to add to his tally of match winners!

Timo Werner (No. 11) Left Forward, Germany

One of Tuchel’s biggest aims at Stamford Bridge is to make Timo Werner the striker that he used at RB Leipzig. Werner has been doing everything correctly in recent times, as he has been making some great runs into the box. Timo Werner has been getting into his groove in the past few games. While his finishing could still improve, it is refreshing to see him in the opposition’s box constantly. The role of an inverted forward suits him as he doesn’t have to run through the middle like a striker or hug the left wing like a winger, he has the freedom to roam about in space. Expect Timo Werner to put in another influential performance and he might just end up winning a penalty, considering how United’s backline has been defending in its box.
