Reece James (No. 24) Right wingback, England

With Callum Hudson-Odoi moving more forward last game, I think Reece James will retain his spot at right wingback. He offers less attacking wise than Hudson-Odoi, but defensively is more solid, his crossing will be key to some chances being created. James’ versatility will be an asset in the future, I am sure of it, so I am expecting another good performance Saturday afternoon.

Jorginho (No. 5) Central midfielder, Italy

The Italian regista gets another start as he won’t be available midweek due to suspension, but that’s not the only reason. His passing and penalty taking will be needed in this one. Jorginho has mixed opinions amongst the Blues fans, but its undeniable that his quality can lead to goals and wins as result of that. He is going to have to work hard this game and must be prepared to do that, it’s imperative that he doesn’t get caught out of possession and moves the ball quickly. If he does all of this, another three points will be on the board.

N’Golo Kante (No. 7) Central midfielder, France

N’Golo Kante and Jorginho played amazing at Anfield and let’s hope that continues at Elland Road. Some may say that Kante will get rest this game ahead of Wednesday, but he rested against Everton and I think it’s Mateo Kovacic’s turn now. He is gonna have to match Kalvin Phillips’ work rate, something we all know Kante can do and stop Leeds counterattacks before they happen. His mobility will be integral with Jorginho beside him and must drive the team forward.

Marcos Alonso (No. 3) Left wingback, Spain

The reason I am saying Marcos Alonso rather than Ben Chilwell is I think Chilwell will be saved for Atletico Madrid, especially because of the return of Kieran Trippier. We all know Alonso is more capable playing as a left wingback than a left back because of his difficulties to defend fast wingers or fullbacks and his capability to score a 30-yard free kick or volley. With that being said, Alonso retains his spot and will be tasked to overlap and provide good crosses, just like James, and try his best not to be burned by Raphinha.
