Callum Hudson-Odoi (Right wingback): 7/10

It is really difficult judge players performances when they are constantly being move around throughout the course of the game. Callum Hudson-Odoi started as right wingback then moved to center forward by the looks of it and then was subbed off. This is just the nature when you are being managed by Tuchel: continuous changing. Having so much attacking talent, he has to play these players in different positions to fit the players in. It may be a detriment to the team and players, as well. That aside, Hudson-Odoi did OK, which was a common theme amongst the entire team—no real stand out performances.

Mateo Kovacic (Central midfielder): 7/10

Sheffield United was very adamant on fouling any player who has an ability to drive the ball forward. Because of that, Mateo Kovacic really struggled to do anything of note.

Billy Gilmour (Central midfielder): 7/10

Billy Gilmour got his chance to play again on Sunday and tried his best to create opportunities for the forwards, but lacked that final ball. The future is bright for Gilmour and he must continue to impress in training and when given a chance to have a spot in Tuchel’s team next season.

Ben Chilwell (Left wingback): 8/10

Once again, I thought Ben Chilwell posed the most attacking threat, especially in the first half because of his willingness to have a strike. He constantly tried to create something and that willingness lead to the Blues’ first goal. He took a shot just outside of the box that took a deflection off Oliver Norwood and past Aaron Ramsdale, into the back of net. He added another assist to his collection, as well, setting Ziyech up nicely in injury time. Maybe Chilwell should tell our forwards to just shoot the ball because things like that could result in goal like it did on Sunday.

Reece James (Right wingback): N/A

Reece James replaced Olivier Giroud, which was a part of the plan to move Hudson-Odoi further up the pitch. If anything, Sheffield United had more chances once he and Azpilicueta came on, which luckily didn’t result in a goal. That being said, no rating for James.

N’Golo Kante (Central midfielder): N/A

N’Golo Kante got seven minutes to shutdown Sheffield United and did exactly that with a smile on his face.
