3. Captain America has returned

Bring the shield, because Captain America is back. Christian Pulisic scored two excellent goals that gave Chelsea all the breathing space the team could need. Both goals came from excellent runs, and outstanding first touch. Pulisic was also quick on his feet and hardly put a foot wrong.

Moreover, his over all performance was outstanding. Pulisic was not only focused on the attack, but also in retrieving the ball high up the pitch. His work-rate allowed the midfielders control the game. The American also made very good runs in the wide areas, which allowed space to be created in the center.

Pulisic had fans worried due to his injuries, and the time it has taken him to return to his usually rhythm. Nevertheless, if there was a performance that represented a super hero landing and dramatic background music, this was it.
