Mason Mount (No. 19) Right winger, England

Consistently Chelsea’s best and the first name on the team sheet, that will not change as long as Mason Mount continues to put in great performance after performance. We saw at West Ham, Mount was not scared to have a shot from outside and really caused Lukasz Fabiański some trouble. There may be another chance to cause Thibaut Courtois the same issues if Mount is given the opportunity to do so. Goals have been hard to come by for this team due to a lack of finishing or inability to break down teams, but one thing we know is that Mount can turn nothing into something. Those moments of brilliance may be the difference between winning or losing and I have all the faith in the world in Mount to deliver on the big stage again.

Kai Havertz (No. 29) Center forward, Germany

I may be wrong, I see Kai Havertz starting this game over Timo Werner due how well this front three has played together as of late. I know Werner scored a goal at the weekend, but it was the same old, same old with him as he missed easy chance after easy chance. Havertz’s height and ability to drive the ball forward confidently will be a huge asset in the Blues’ hold-up play to set the wingers and fullbacks free. Chelsea arguably saw its best performance under Tuchel with the front three I am mentioning and I think this will be the best line-up to ensure the visitors get a pivotal away goal.

Christian Pulisic (No. 10) Left winger, United States

It’s pretty safe to say that Christian Pulisic will be starting due to the fact he did the pre-match presser on Monday, but regardless of that, I think he would have been in starting XI no matter what. Pulisic has really regain the form that we’ve seen from him during last season and it couldn’t have come at better time. The battle of the Blues’ old No. 10 versus their new No. 10 will grab all the headlines due to Eden Hazard’s horrific stint so far at Real Madrid. He’s just returning from what feels like his 20th injury, it’s Pulisic’s time to show all Chelsea fans that he’s replaced Hazard well.
