Right forward: Kai Havertz (32)

While the left wingback role was a tough one to decide, the right forward spot was damn near impossible. Chelsea has a plethora of talented up and coming players, as well as the young talent already in the first team. It’s Kai Havertz that gets the nod though. The German had a rough start to his first season in England, but it couldn’t have ended any better. Havertz scored the go-ahead goal in the Champions League final as the Blues went on to defeat Manchester City 1-0. This happened before he even turned 22, mind you. His good form carried over to the German National Team where he became Die Mannschaft’s youngest ever goalscorer in a European Championship. The Germans bowed out prematurely to England in Euro 2020, not because of a lack of production from Havertz though. There are big things on the horizon for the versatile attacker. His inclusion on this list is solely based on his raw talent and ability to become one of the world’s very best. Even in his early 30s, he’ll still be lighting the world on fire.

Center forward: Armando Broja (29)

There has been a lot of talk surrounding the striker position for Chelsea next season. This has unfortunately blocked out a lot of positive updates regarding the Blues’ best striker prospect. Armando Broja ventured out on his first loan to Vitesse—a journey many youngsters before him have made—and he was immense. Similar to so many Chelsea loanees, Broja’s performances won over the hearts of Vitesse supporters. Unfortunately for them, it seems as if they’ll be saying goodbye. Broja’s 11 goals and three assists should be enough to convince the club’s decision makers that he’s ready for a domestic challenge. The Championship awaits right now, but the Chelsea starting XI has a place with his name on it in the future.

Left forward: Mason Mount (32)

Captain, Leader, Legend Mk. II. Mason Mount is well on his way to writing his own Chelsea story, finally out from under the shadow of his former gaffer. The English playmaker is one of those individuals every manager dreams of working with some day. That’s indirectly what Frank Lampard, Gareth Southgate and Tuchel have told us for years. Mount’s already achieved a ton during his two seasons with the Blues’ first team and it’s only the beginning. When Cesar Azpilicueta departs, it’s likely Mount takes over as the club captain and won’t give it up until he calls it quits. He’s Chelsea through and through and he makes this list for sure.
