Chelsea predicted XI vs Bournemouth: Possible 4-2-2-2 for preseason
Tammy Abraham (No. 9) Right forward
Abraham is likely not going to be a Chelsea player by the time Chelsea is playing their fifth Premier League match of the season. It is not impossible that Abraham will not leave Chelsea this season though. Tuchel subbed off Abraham at half time twice last season and it is therefore not surprising that Tuchel did not play him much for the rest of the season. If Abraham is to stay though, there are a lot of things he needs to work on before he can be selected enough. Tuchel is succinct enough in his coaching to let Abraham know what those things are. Is there hope of Abraham remaining a Blue?
Armando Broja, Left forward
Broja just recently signed a new deal but is almost definitely going to remain with the U23 squad for the 2021/22 season. This partly depends on how much Broja can convince Tuchel to add the Albanian to his squad for the new season. Broja spend a season on loan at Vitesse in the Eredivisie, scoring 11 goals. He’s may get another loan this season, but Tuchel is still evaluating all his players and so nothing is definite yet.
