2. Timo Werner

While calling Timo Werner a flop would be a bit harsh, everyone will have to admit that we expected much more from him when he first joined us. At RB Leipzig, he was a goal-scoring machine, scoring 95 goals and providing 40 assists in under 160 games. This is a brilliant feat, and no wonder Frank Lampard thought that he would be a perfect fit for the team.

However, at Chelsea, the German was having a hard time finding the back of the net and as time went on, his confidence began to fade away. Tuchel brought in Romelu Lukaku as the Blues needed a more consistent striker, and the Belgian has already managed to score his first goal. It would make sense to start the number nine again, however, it has been reported that the player was having a slight pain in his thigh, and he wants to have a scan done to ensure that everything is fine. Tuchel might give him the day off, especially since he had to play in the international games with slight pain.

This is the perfect chance for Werner to get back on track. The German had a great international break scoring three times in three games. Although he did miss a few great opportunities, he managed to find the net in all three games, and he will be hoping to emulate that in the league as well.
