Mason Mount (No. 19) Right winger, England

Mount was very good in the Malmo game. His movement in the final third was very good and he helped disrupt the Malmo defensive structure a lot. He had the second most shot-creating actions (5) and as usual, applied the most pressures (25). This is an opportunity for Mount to put his stamp on a match. Mount has created the most big chances for Chelsea in the Premier League this season and it bodes well for the team if he continues to do that.

Kai Havertz (No. 29) Center forward, Germany

Kai Havertz did well to get the goal against Malmo. Tuchel had already spoken about him lacking in decisiveness, and while one goal against Malmo doesn’t disprove that, it’s the first step to Havertz turning his form around. The German arrived at Stamford Bridge as Chelsea’s most expensive player and he has not justified his price tag so far. Of course, no one is panicking as he’s only 22 years old. Chelsea has so much talent in the attacking department but somehow it’s not scoring or creating as much as some of the best attacking outfits in Europe. This has to change.

Callum Hudson-Odoi (No. 20) Left winger, England

Callum Hudson-Odoi played OK against Malmo. While it’s important to put that performance in context, the Englishman took his chance and with injuries to Werner and Lukaku, there’s two holes left in the front line that Hudson-Odoi can take advantage of. The Englishman’s only contribution in the match was the assist, but that’s one hell of a contribution. Norwich will be a good game for Hudson-Odoi to be given a start. He wanted to go on loan but his loan was blocked. All he can do now is put his head down and work hard. Who knows what happens? See Loftus-Cheek, Ruben.
