Chelsea is at one of its highest points right now, it is at the top of the table in the Premier League, it is looking quite comfortable in the UEFA Champions League and it is even doing well in the Carabao Cup. The Super Cup winners have their players, fans and amazing manager/coaches to thank for their results. However, there have been a few stand out players this season. While the Blues are one of the more wholesome teams, a statement that is cemented by the fact that they already have 17 different scorers this season, there are a few players who have made more impact on the field.

While these players have been playing at their top level day in and day out, they are not necessarily the highest earners at the club. The highest-earning spots are reserved for the superstar signings that Frank Lampard made last season, and Tuchel made this season. Currently, Romelu Lukaku is the top earner in the club, earning a ridiculous 325,000 pounds a week. Apart from that, players such as Timo Werner, Christian Pulisic and Kepa Arrizabalaga also make the top 10 earners of the club. However, they are not the most used players of the club.

This can certainly make a lot of players at the club feel undervalued and money is one of the main reasons why contract negotiations are not going very smoothly. Chelsea is a rich club but every club in the world is recovering from the global pandemic. Apart from that, the Blues also spent millions on players in the last two years and they will be looking to make that money back through competition wins and shirt sales. However, there are a few players that the London side must not let go of. Here are three players who deserve new contracts and Chelsea should sort that out, as soon as possible.
