Chelsea will take on Newcastle United on the 30th of October and as of now, it seems like an easy task for the Blues. The London side has been on a fantastic run in the Premier League and has conceded only one goal from open play so far. It has also scored 23 goals in nine games, seven of which came against Norwich City in the most recent league game. Chelsea was unstoppable against the Canaries and academy graduate Mason Mount gave Blues supporters a real treat by scoring a hat-trick. Right now, the European Champions look unstoppable and even though they struggled a bit against Southampton in the Carabao Cup, they should do just fine against the Magpies on Saturday.

Now, let’s take a look at the three things to look out for in the match:

1. Another big scoreline

Chelsea was absolutely dominant in the match against Norwich last time out. The Blues played without a proper striker and still, four of their players managed to get onto the scoring sheet. Thomas Tuchel played a very rotated side against Saints in the Carabao Cup and might choose to start a stronger side against Newcastle. Should the Blues start one of their strongest sides with the likes of Mount, Kai Havertz, Mateo Kovacic and others, supporters should expect another extremely one-sided match on Saturday.

As things currently stand, Chelsea is at the top of the table and nothing can stop it at the moment. Tuchel has clearly been focusing on improving the attack and the Blues scored a collective of 12 goals in their last three matches in all competitions. Newcastle, on the other hand, is currently going through a big change in ownership and policies. Thus, the Magpies are a very weak side at the moment. They don’t even have a proper manager at the moment and they are sitting in 19th position with zero wins to their name. The Blues will take advantage of the weak Newcastle side and could end the game in the first half itself.
