Chelsea is currently sitting on the top of the table with a three-point gap over title rivals, Liverpool, and a five points gap over current champions, Manchester City. Things are looking good for the men in blue at the moment and although October was a pretty easy month for them, the way Chelsea dominated their opponents makes them the favorites to win the title at the moment. Even former Newcastle United legend, Alan Shearer, had to give credit to the London side after they thrashed his former side.

This dominant display was done without Chelsea’s best players which goes on to show that the team is coming together as a whole and there is no player in the squad without whom the club would absolutely crumble. As seen in many top teams, there is always that one player who can make the difference, for example for Manchester United it is Cristiano Ronaldo, for the Reds, it is Mohammed Salah, however, everyone at Chelsea is playing at the same tempo and even the second team looks quite good, although they are lacking in chemistry a bit.

Although it was an easy month for the Blues and they went through the match in a perfect fashion, winning all their available games, there is always room for introspection and improvement. Given that last month was quite easy and that the Blues will have to face the likes of Leicester City, United and Juventus this month, it will be good to reflect upon the positives and negatives of October. Thus, without any further ado, here are the three most important points from the month of October for Chelsea.
