2. Chelsea is not making sloppy mistakes

Last season was quite a rollercoaster of a ride for all Chelsea fans. The team started brilliantly but was then brought down to reality just before the Christmas break and soon after the restart, a new manager was coming in to save the club from a mid-table finish. Tuchel did a wonderful job in transforming the team and they won the important matches to secure a fourth-place finish in the league. Apart from that, they also went on to win the UEFA Champions League trophy for only the second time in their history. However, the team was still losing or dropping points in some easy games.

Their 2-1 loss against Aston Villa on the final day, their loss to a weak Arsenal side and most remarkably the 5-2 thrashing to West Brom were all signs of weakness in the team. While the Blues were taking down the big dogs such as Manchester City, Liverpool, Real Madrid, etc with relative ease, they were struggling against the underdog teams a bit. Their only defeat in the Champions League last season came to Porto. While the Portuguese side is a formidable opponent, considering the other teams the Blues faced, they should not have lost against Porto.

This season, however, that curse seems to have been lifted as the Chelsea side plays much more freely and intensively against the weaker teams. The pressing is much more organized and the Blues are taking control of the game early on. The only game where we had serious problems was against Brentford however, after that game Tuchel changed his tactics into a more aggressive style of play and that has made a real difference in results. Now that the London side can attack confidently and defend competently, there is nothing stopping them from lifting the PL title at the end of the season.
