Hakim Ziyech (Right winger): 8.5/10

The Moroccan winger was heavily involved against Malmo throughout his time on the pitch. Ziyech  took four shots on goal and created five key passes but was frustrated by the Malmo defense on the night. His patience was rewarded after he converted a sublime pass from Hudson-Odoi to give Chelsea the lead in the 56′. Ziyech was substituted by Ross Barkley in the 73′.

Kai Havertz (Center forward): 7/10

The German international was very wasteful in front of goal and should have scored in each half from Loftus-Cheek’s passes, which put him one-on-one with the goalkeeper. Nevertheless, Havertz played a part in Chelsea’s goal as he produced a sublime touch to set Hudson-Odoi free to play a through ball to Ziyech.

Callum Hudson-Odoi (Left winger): 8/10

Hudson-Odoi had somewhat of a disappointing game. The English youngster had a very quiet game in front of the goal as he only attempted a single shot on target. He was involved in creating three key passes, one of which was a sublime cross-field ball to Ziyech, which helped the team take a much-needed lead. Hudson-Odoi was substituted by Christian Pulisic in the 73′.

Christian Pulisic (Right winger): 6/10

Pulisic replaced Hudson-Odoi in the 73′ and got some much-needed minutes under his belt after recovering from an injury which kept him out since September. He unfortunately missed an open goal at the end to make it 2-0.

Ross Barkley (Left winger): 6/10

Barkley replaced Ziyech in the 73′ and created a couple of chances. He also took a couple of shots on goal.
