Reece James (No. 24) Right wingback, England

Reece James is another Chelsea wingback in red hot form. He scored two goals against Newcastle last weekend and seemed to be in good form. Tuchel opted to rest him against Malmo, so he should be ready to start against Burnley. Expect a goal or an assist from James against the Clarets.

Jorginho (No. 5) Central midfielder, Italy

Jorginho was effective against Malmo in the Champions League. He ensured that Chelsea was in control throughout the game with his 92 percent pass accuracy. The Italian is a regular in Mancini’s line-up and Tuchel will have to be careful with his workload. Unfortunately, Mateo Kovacic is currently injured and N’Golo Kante seems to be struggling with a muscle issue, which means either Saul or Jorginho must start. Saul’s performances haven’t been noticeable until now and a physical side like Burnley might manage to take advantage of the Spaniard. All things considered, it makes sense to start Jorginho against Burnley. Expect another tidy performance from the Italian.

Ruben Loftus-Cheek (No. 12) Central midfielder, England

Ruben Loftus-Cheek was Chelsea’s best player against Malmo in the Champions League midweek. The towering midfielder was dominant on the ball and used his physical presence to shield the ball well. Malmo’s midfielders looked clueless at times and ended up fouling him on more than one occasion. He used his dribbling skills exceptionally well and kept dribbling his way out of tight situations. It is refreshing to see a “forgotten” talent work his way to being almost undroppable in a stacked Chelsea side. Tuchel also deserves credit for allowing Loftus-Cheek to flourish and selecting his side on merit. Expect Loftus-Cheek to put in another dynamic shift and pull the strings against Burnley.

Ben Chilwell (No. 21) Left wingback, England

Ben Chilwell was one of the best players in the league last month. The Englishman wreaked havoc on the left wing as he kept scoring crucial goal after crucial goal. Following the game against Norwich City, Chilwell became the first English player to score in four consecutive Premier League games for the Blues since Frank Lampard in February 2013. The international break is right around the corner, so Chilwell would love to make a statement against Burnley and stake his claim for starting berth in England’s line-up.
