Chelsea at Leicester predicted XI: Tuchel turns to 3-4-2-1 in PL return

LONDON, ENGLAND - MAY 15: N'Golo Kante of Chelsea is challenged by Caglar Soyuncu of Leicester City during The Emirates FA Cup Final match between Chelsea and Leicester City at Wembley Stadium on May 15, 2021 in London, England. Mason Mount (No. 19) Right winger, England

Having had his wisdom tooth removed over the international break, arguably Chelsea’s best player, Mason Mount, would be expected to start this weekend. He has two assists and three goals in eight Premier League matches so far this season. Mount is really showing his importance to this Chelsea team once again. Mount has delivered 16 crosses, but unfortunately, only 19 percent of those crosses finds a Blues player on the other end. Set pieces will be vital, as well, the longer the game goes on without a breakthrough.

Kai Havertz (No. 29) Center forward, Germany

Having seen images of key striking duo Lukaku and Werner coming back soon, this seems like the last match for Kai Havertz to leave his mark as that ‘false nine’ for Chelsea. The silky German has played that role really well, but has not quite got the numbers to back that up. A goal in the draw against Burnley was only his second in the Premier League this season.

Callum Hudson-Odoi (No. 20) Left winger, England

Callum Hudson-Odoi had an impressive start to the season when being called upon. He’s played in five matches so far and has just a single goal in the Premier League this season so far. That, however, doesn’t tell the full story. The 21-year-old has put in some excellent performances over the course of the current campaign. Hudson-Odoi has won 48 percent of his duels and has nine successful dribbles. His pace along with the rest of the forwards can see him have a field day against a Leicester back line not particularly known for its speed.
