Prediction

On Tuesday when Villarreal played Man United, any team with top players could’ve been three to four goals to the good in the first half. This Chelsea team—should it play as its usual fluent self—will absolutely run rampant against the Red Devils. Man United has a lot of defensive problems with suspensions and through injury. A new partnership is likely to be named this weekend and a disjointed back line will be the last thing the side would’ve wanted ahead of facing the league leaders. A Chelsea team fresh off the back of dismantling Juventus in the Champions League will be in good spirits ahead of the visit from interim manager Michael Carrick’s men. The Blues won nine of their last 10 games in all competitions and should they secure all three points, they will remain on top of the Premier League table. If Man United wins on Sunday then it’ll close down the gap between itself and the top four should other results go in its favour.
