Callum Hudson-Odoi (Left winger): 6.5/10

Callum Hudson-Odoi is another situation that many don’t quite understand. Hudson-Odoi has seemed to play well whenever he has played, which wasn’t much last season. He led all of Chelsea’s forwards in chances created per 90 in the Premier League last season. The Englishman also led the Blues in shot-creating actions per 90 minutes. Of course, the fact that he didn’t play up to 1,000 Premier League minutes makes many wonder why he didn’t get played more. Sometimes it was due to injury, but often times it was due to the fact he is just not favored on his preferred left wing. Hudson-Odoi needs a loan like a camel needs water … desperately.

Christian Pulisic (Left winger): 6/10

Christian Pulisic did very well considering the minutes he got. He was often electric and always willing to take players on and try to move the ball through dribbling. The American was better at getting into goalscoring positions and finding gaps in the opposition’s back line though. Pulisic proved this throughout the season as he constantly got into very good scoring positions. His shots on average were the closest to goal of any of Chelsea’s attackers. Pulisic played 2,207 minutes overall and averaged 0.53 goals involvements per 90. Unfortunately, he was generally poor in the cups, most notably in the FA Cup final against Liverpool.

Timo Werner (Left winger): 6.5/10

Werner started the season poorly and picked up in the final third. He ended the season with 17 goals contributions in all competitions, averaging the highest number of goal involvements per game (0.69). He was very good in the Champions League, scoring the most goals for the Blues in that competition (four). He was also very good in the FA Cup, but not in the league though, which is a shame considering he had such promise when he was brought to west London two seasons ago by Frank Lampard and his regime.
