Right winger: Christian Pulisic

After being linked with Juventus, Christian Pulisic claimed that he wants to stay at his current club and continue to fight. The American also stated that he couldn’t ask for a better opportunity to prove his worth as he’s taken a backseat role under Tuchel thus far. The camp being set up in his own homeland is a huge positive, and the U.S. Men’s National Team captain has got to step up to the occasion. Fans will hope to see more of his abundant pace and technical abilities throughout the tour, he’ll likely be the star of the show in each of the Blues’ three matches stateside.

Centre forward: Timo Werner

After attracting a lot of interest from potential buyers, the best solution for Timo Werner now looks to be staying at Chelsea and giving it his all for one more season. After Romelu Lukaku’s exit, the Blues are left with negligible options up top. Even though Broja will be joining the squad in a few days, the odds of him staying at the club aren’t great as he’s been attracting interest from numerous Premier League sides. Under such crisis, the Blues could heavily depend on Werner as an experienced option as an unconventional No. 9.

Left winger: Callum Hudson-Odoi

After missing the last two months of the season due to an odd neurological issue, Callum Hudson-Odoi looks ready to put aside his injury concerns and regain Tuchel’s trust during the preseason. He rested only for a week before he was back at Cobham this summer, training for five or six weeks and working on himself. The fans hope that he’ll continue to put in the work and resist injuries to realize his enormous potential as a creative force on the left wing.
