Chelsea vs Arsenal score predictions: Gonna beat the Gunners
Chelsea play Arsenal in a friendly deemed the Florida Cup on Saturday night. Or Sunday morning, if you are in the United Kingdom like myself. The venue is Camping World Stadium in Orlando, Florida. Capacity is 65,000 spectators, so expect plenty of support for both well-followed English clubs.
OK, now The Pride of London staff shall predict the outcome of the friendly between the West and North London outfits. And the PoL team seem to generally believe that the Blues are gonna beat the Gunners, as you can read below. Naturally there is always a wildcard or two.
Chelsea vs Arsenal score predictions: Gonna beat the Gunners
Chelsea 2-0 Arsenal – Olaoluwa Nwobodo,
Chelsea lost in silly fashion against Charlotte, a performance that was capped off by a truly horrendous penalty kick from Conor Gallagher saw Chelsea deserve a loss. Tuchel is still working on the squad fitness and Chelsea fans will likely starts seeing patterns in the lineups soon. There’s no such thing as a friendly match against Arsenal so Chelsea has to win this.
Arsenal 2-1 Chelsea – Anthony Gatt
Arteta masterclass incoming and adds to his trophy cabinet the Florida Cup. In all seriousness I just see Arsenal winning this game 2-1 due to them being in real good form this preseason. Scoring 10 goals in 3 games, the Blues will just lacking the quality up front again to win this game.
Chelsea 2-0 Arsenal – Bryan Martin
I’m usually the pessimistic one on score predictions, but I feel like CFC has something to prove. I anticipate that this match will be the closest we come to a full match simulation and expect that the team will want to put together a high-output performance after a lethargic showing in Charlotte. Arsenal have been in great form this off-season but this will be the game where Sterling leaves his mark. Mason Mount and Raheem Sterling both net and Koulibaly stands out in the back.
Chelsea 3-0 Arsenal – Barrett Rouen
I think Arsenal will be overwhelmed by our guys who just got read the riot act.
Chelsea 2-0 Arsenal – Nate Hofman
Chelsea is undefeated in matches I’ve been to (1W 0D 0L). Given that healthy sample size, this is all but a guaranteed victory.
ARS 2-2 CHE [CHE win on penalties] – Leighton September
A trophy up for grabs? What Chelsea been doing best. Any match against those North London team isn’t just a friendly. Will be the first time Sterling and Koulibaly will know whats it’s like playing in a London derby. Arsenal have been in superb form in preseason and the Blues have slowly formed momentum thus far. Should be an interesting game.
Chelsea 1-1 Arsenal (CHE wins pens) – Mike Malley
Despite it being a London Derby, I don’t expect either side to try very hard in this match. Both managers will just be hoping to escape the final preseason game without injuries, so I wouldn’t expect to see the best XI from CFC or Arsenal. Both squads do have a number of new recruits, though, so perhaps a few of them will make their first appearances. One of the Blues’ new faces, Raheem Sterling, looked lively during his brief cameo on Wednesday and I’ll be hoping to see more of the same from him, as well.
