A list of funny FPL team names for Chelsea fans to use
While wounds heal for players and fans alike following Chelsea’s 4-0 loss to London rivals Arsenal, Pride of London thought we’d take a lighter approach with one of today’s articles. Today we are looking at the amazing game that is Fantasy Premier League. A joyful, though stressful, yearly test of football knowledge, statistical analysis and expectation. PoL would like to put forward some hilarious team names from around the Internet, with particular reference to the Blues. Along with supplying some our own silly, but hopefully humorous, titles for your group this season. Apologies in advance for some of the puns I have come up with today. Although, compiling them was a thoroughly entertaining and enjoyable experience – especially on a Monday morning.
First of all, before we get pun-tastic, I shall propose three additions from CFC for your 2022/23 team. Reece James should definitely be a top three most wanted defensive asset of FPL this campaign. Only Trent Alexander-Arnold of Liverpool – and possibly Manchester City’s Joao Cancelo – gets anywhere near the Chels’ star with respect to potential output. There is also a realistic chance that the Blues will concede one the fewest goal amounts, or around that level. Secondly, I have Mason Mount in my collective already. The trustworthiness of the England international makes him so underrated. In addition, he consistently performs in front of goal and is unselfish when teammates are better placed. Finally I think Kai Havertz just pips Raheem Sterling, as it may take the winger time to settle. Whilst the German is almost certainly playing as a kind of No.9 for Thomas Tuchel in this coming term.
