The Premier League is back! Following a long few months without club football, the 2022/23 season is set to get underway when Arsenal takes on Crystal Palace to kick off the campaign. There is a lot of excitement around the league for the upcoming season, but with the transfer window remaining open until the end of the month and a World Cup break in December, there are also a lot of uncertainties. There are some clubs—Chelsea, for example—that are benefitting from these unique circumstances.

It’s been a long summer for the Blues’ fans as they’ve had to stick with their club through thick and thin during the transfer of power. This season will be the club’s first without now-former owner Roman Abramovich in nearly two decades. Thus, there are a lot of mixed feelings amongst supporters. Chelsea seems to be in safe hands with Todd Boehly and Co. though. While a lot of things have changed during the course of the year, Thomas Tuchel is returning for his third season (second full campaign) in west London. He’s given fans a lot to look forward to in the past and that continues to ring true. Regardless of what the upcoming season holds for spectators, it’s certainly going to be another memorable year in SW6.
